Mokesys® tiles for the central combustion chamber

The Mokelite tile is an development especially designed for use in areas of moderate furnace temperature. As is the case with all tiles in the Mokesys® range, installation of the Mokelite tiles is simple and effective. The support brackets are positioned precisely and fices using stud welding equipment. The dry-fixed rows of tiles are backed with a jointless, castable concrete especially developed for this application. Despite its low water content, this SiC conrete boasts excellent flow characteristics. These guarantee minimal porosity, without air inclusions, thus allowing optimum sealing and the necessary corrosion protection of the pressure vessel to be achieved. The thorough surface covering of the tube-wall also ensures optimum heat transfer. A positive side effect of this lower surface temperature is that the formation of deposits on the tiling is reduced, so extending the cleaning intervals.
